Allan Coleman's High Yield (VWEAX) Junk Bond Fund Buy

Before noon, PST, Allan Coleman wrote:

  • I just came from the Vanguard web site and placed an order for $101k in the Vanguard Admiral class High - Yield ( junk ) bond fund ( VWEAX ) at the close today .
  • Since I've been discussing this for awhile now , I decided to put my money where my mouth is and walk my talk . As usual when I 've done things I'm still fairly uncertain of , I'll go for a walk .
  • Also expect the navs of our favorite Vanguard GNMA funds ( VFIIX & VFIJX ) to close LOWER at the close today .
  • More tonite when I can confirm my price I paid for my High - Yield ( junk ) bond fund and report on the closing prices of GNMAs .
